High-stakes solutions for the conflict you’ve been avoiding. Inclusion is not a vibe. It’s recovery work.

For founders, leaders, teams, and brands who’ve outgrown false harmony and want a way through conflict without collapse.

START THE WORK

I’m a leadership coach, inclusion consultant, facilitator, and writer with over 15 years of experience across creative industries, health start-ups, and corporate environments. I design trauma-informed leadership journeys that help organisations work with conflict, lead inclusively, and strengthen culture under pressure.

As co-founder of We Create Space, I helped reinvest over £1M into marginalised communities through global partnerships and programming. I’m known for transforming conflict into strategy and creating spaces where difference, rigour, and accountability can coexist.

I work in English and French. If your organisation is fluent in language but not in behaviour, that gap is where I work.

CLIENTS REFLECTIONS.

“As agents of change, we’re used to initiating transformation - but it’s something else entirely when it transforms you. Maylis’ impact on PRIDE’s identity and culture, and the safe space that helped build for our LGBTIQ+ community at JTI is profound. I’m deeply grateful.”

— JENNIFER POLZIN, Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager

“This training felt truly transformational. I feel confident that it gave me more tools to be an inclusive leader.”

— HALA DIMECHKIE, Dean of Students

“Maylis brought a powerful multicultural perspective that made this workshop a success. It was refreshing to work with someone who truly understands the complexity of navigating multiple cultural identities.”

— BROOKE BERNDTSON, Student Success Coordinator and Academic Advisor

CONSULTING TRACKS.

  • You know that you’ve outgrown the mask - but your workplace hasn’t caught up yet.

I’ll help you deal with conflict as it actually shows up: in meetings, feedback, team dynamics, and power struggles.

You’ll learn how to stay grounded under pressure, say what needs to be said, and guide difficult conversations so they lead to movement - not resentment or burnout.

  • When inclusion isn’t performative, conflict becomes a portal - not a problem.

I help teams move beyond inclusive language into inclusive behaviour.

We work on how decisions are made, how conflict is handled, and who carries the emotional cost when things go wrong.

Because culture isn’t what you say - it’s what happens when there’s tension, disagreement, or harm.

  • Most brands suck at inclusion, not because they lack data, but because they lack context - and that’s history, power, and lived experience.

I run qualitative research that surfaces how people really relate to your brand - including the tensions, contradictions, and sensitivities your data won’t show.

The result: sharper messaging, fewer missteps, and decisions rooted in cultural reality, not assumptions.

  • I speak and moderate with one goal: to make hard conversations feel human and productive.

Whether I’m keynoting or guiding a panel, I bring presence and precision. I name what often goes unsaid: the tension, the harm, and the hope.

I create the conditions for my audience not to bypass discomfort, but to move through it - together.

  • This is where my thinking lives in motion. I write to interrogate leadership norms, call out inclusion theatre, and invite readers into a slower, more relational way of working.

Some pieces are sharp. Some are soft.
All are rooted in lived experience.

Less theatre. More transformation.

Here’s how conflict becomes a leadership practice, culture becomes something you work on, and integrity becomes non-negotiable.

START THE WORK

This work asks something of you.

Your culture is carrying conflict, it’s already shaping your outcomes - whether you’re naming it or not.

This isn’t work for organisations looking to look good, move fast, or outsource responsibility. This will feel uncomfortable.

It’s for founders, leaders, teams, and brands willing to:

  • examine how power actually operates

  • stay present when conversations get uncomfortable

  • take responsibility for repair, not just intent

  • build ways of working that can hold disagreement without breaking trust

If this feels confronting, this may not be the right moment.

If it feels grounding, let’s explore what a tailored partnership could look like.

These conversations are exploratory, not transactional.

WHERE I WORK FROM.

What I do didn’t start in a boardroom.
It all began in spaces like these: open-air, intergenerational, unapologetically communal.

The women in this image carry a legacy that predates modern leadership theory.

My work is a bridge between that wisdom and the boardrooms I enter today.

I invite others to lead not just with ambition - but with memory, humility, and imagination. If you want to learn more, let’s talk!
